A lovely well equipped 3 bed house, comfortable and homely, presented to highest standard of cleanliness. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for you and your canine buddies to have a great stay. Great walks for the Hounds, farm shop close by for a cheeky breakfast. A short walk from pubs and shops, and about 1.5 mile walk to Tenterden which is a lovely town to shop and dine in.

My husband, myself & our dog had a lovely stay at Elnathan. The house was clean, comfortable and very welcoming and included everything we needed. The welcome hamper of local products was really appreciated including treats for the dog. We received an email & phone call from the owner prior to arrival with info and asking if we needed anything. We used the local farm shop & cafe every morning which is only a 3 min walk away. We also went on some lovely walks on local footpaths around the area.

This property exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and location. It was exceptionally comfortable and ideal for a relaxing holiday. There were many attractions throughout Kent and East Sussex easily accessible from the property.

An immaculate cottage incredibly well equipped with fantastic views across the beautiful Kent countryside. Lovely walks into Tenterden and into the countryside. Organic produce just a few minutes up the road. A wonderful stay, thank you.

We went as a family for the New Year and had the most fabulous time. The cottage was perfect, such great layout and also plenty of room space and even the bedrooms are great sizes. The hosts were so welcoming and kind to let us in their home and helped us settled in with a great handbook and more information about the location we were staying.

We stayed at the cottage over Christmas and immediately fell in love with it. It had everything we could need to make Christmas special. Our rescue dog Scrappy was immediately at home and the village is wonderful. Highly recommended.

We had a great weekend staying at this property. It was spacious, very well equipped, and made for a very comfortable base for exploring Kent. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We had a great stay at the cottage and would highly recommend it. The house was extremely clean and tidy and decorated to a high standard. There is plenty of room for 2-3 couples or a large family. Although the weather wasn’t the best, there was plenty to do in the area. Our hosts left some nice essentials from the local farm shop (Bread, Milk & Cheese) which was a lovely touch, and even a bottle of fizz from the local Chapel Down vineyard.

Such a beautiful house. Very clean and spacious. 6 adults and a toddler stayed and we didnt get in each others way. Bedrooms very spacious too. Loved the outside space, not huge but beautifully cared for. The area was lovely and the walk into Tenterden along the old railway was lovely, also walked back over the fields footpath too. Took about 35 mins. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Elnathan is exactly as shown on the website photos. It is spacious, stylish, and equipped with everything needed, and more than most holiday cottages. The bed linen and towels are high quality, the house was immaculate. The farm shop a few minutes walk away is great for eating at and provisions. Tenterden has a variety of good places to eat and is in walking distance by road or by several footpaths over the fields. We stay at many holiday homes and are particular. This is one of the best.

We absolutely loved staying at this property with our 1 year old and 5 year old. The property was immaculate which was great as I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness. The property is exactly like what the photos represent it to be. Fantastic! The owners have really paid a lot of attention to detail when designing the cottage and we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities within the property. Andrew was very easy to reach if we had any questions/concerns.

Undoubtedly the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed at. Dog friendly +++. Our second visit. Property is very well equipped, spacious, light and airy. Excellent welcome pack. Situated on a quiet lane, it is a very short walk to an excellent organic farm shop, with all home-produced meat, milk plus local vegetables, plants etc. Lots to do in the area - National Trust, English Heritage + many individual properties.

A very well appointed and comfortable cottage which fully catered for all our holiday needs. A peaceful setting with Tenterden a few minutes drive away. The local farm shop/cafe was a wonderful surprise being a short walk away. We give this property top marks all round.

Really very nice and comfortable cottage, good location for visiting the highlights of Kent. Garden not too big but sunshine all day long (we were lucky!). Owners helpful. Would certainly recommend this holiday home to friends and family.

Elnathan has been wonderfully restored and decorated to a very high standard, providing easy access to all the various tourist attractions in the Kent area. The owners were particularly helpful by supplying lots of visitor information in advance which was very useful. Would like to thank them so much for their very generous 'welcome pack', and recommendation to call into the local farm shop - Silcocks - which was well worth the visit.

Excellent comfortable and stylish cottage in a lovely location. Plenty to see and do in Kent and E. Sussex. We visited Rye, Canterbury, Battle and many vineyards in local area. Tenterden has great shops and pubs. Good communication with the owner. Would highly recommend for a holiday.

This is an exceptional place - the decor, furnishings and equipment provided are of the highest quality. This is more a wonderful home than a rental property. We were six adults and two children under two and the spacious ground floor was perfect with an open plan kitchen and family area, television snug and more formal sitting room. The bedrooms easily accommodated the travel cots kindly provided by the helpful owners. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the welcome pack. Thank you!

We found the house to be very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Tenterden is a 30 minute stroll away which has a good variety of shops and cafes etc plus the steam railway which takes you to Bodium castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found plenty of interesting places to visit from there.

We had a wonderful time at Elnathan. The property has been lovingly designed and cared fo. Tucked away close to the countryside, it is very thoughtfully equipped, very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the attention to detail. The garden is more intimate than large but lovely and very pleasant to hang out in. We went as a family of four generations and it suited everyone from baby to grandmother. It would equally suit a couple or, a group of friends.

Elnathan is a wonderful holiday cottage, superbly appointed throughout. From the excellent pre arrival communication through to departure we felt well looked after by the owners. Every room has been well thought out and is a real home from home using only the finest upholstery and accessories. We were especially impressed by the kitchen which has every gadget or utensil you would need. Location is just right for the quiet country feel but only a short walk from shops and local pub. 5 Star

My family and I had a amazing two weeks at Elnathan in St Michaels. The house was perfect for our needs (Family of 4). The house is beautiful and perfectly located a short stroll from both the farm shop for a tasty breaky as well as the local pub. The house was immaculate on arrival and has everything and more that you need for a great stay. Very stylish with lots of light shining throughout the day. The garden and the look out to the garden though the highlight. Hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely stay, the owners have thought of everything, even a shopping bag in the pantry. It's beautiful, lots of places to sit and chat, which worked great for us as we stayed with another couple. The towels are super fluffy and a bath sheet , horray , towels in other cottages are always tiny.

As a party of 2 from Germany we have had a very pleasant and relaxing week in Elnathan. The property is without doubt one of the best we have rented. The house has outstanding furnishings, tasteful interior and home appliances at its best. Plenty of space, beautiful garden, farm shop with cafe in 5 minutes walking distance. We would definitely return to Elnathan.

We spent a family holiday here for a week with our three teenage children and a dog. The location of the house is very idylic and it is very lovingly and tastefully furnished. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The landlords were very friendly in their communication and helpful. There were even treats for our dog at the reception. We would spend a holiday here again at any time.

The owner is a great host and was very helpful as we arrived during a power cut due to the storms but kept us informed of the situation prior to our arrival. The cottage is extremely well equipped and gives plenty of space for people to do their own thing or get together as a family. Great location just outside Tenterden but in quiet countryside. We had a great break for my wife’s 60th birthday. The facilities for dogs are without compare. We will definitely return.

This is a fantastic property, beautifully designed with much thought and attention to detail. We could not have asked for more and the owners could not have been more helpful, providing special touches such as dog bowls, bags, towels etc. The selection from the local farm shop was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We have stayed in many cottages and this rates as one of our best experiences.

Superb holiday house! Elnathan exceeded expectation! We arrived after a long, cold journey to a spotlessly clean, cosy house with fab, local goodies in the kitchen. A good night’s sleep is so important and the owners have invested in good quality beds and linen! Excellent shower and beautiful fluffy towels! Very well equipped kitchen for cooking at home! The TV snug was so cosy and comfortable for relaxing in with the family. Would highly recommend Elnathan!

We loved staying at Elnathan. Such a beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. The interior decor is stunning and also immensely welcoming and relaxing. The owners’ thoughtfulness and generosity shone throughout, including providing the best equipped kitchen we have ever encountered.
